THE MYSTERY OF SPIRITUAL GATES

INTRODUCTION
 

One of the most prominent and powerful blessings in the bible is that one will possess the gates of his enemies.

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; (Gen 22:17KJV)

And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.

 (Gen 24:60KJV)

When you possess the gates of your enemies, you determine when they come in and when they go out. When you possess the gates of your enemies, you determine whether it is good or bad things that gets to them. You can decide to lock the gates when good things are coming and open it wide when bad is coming. When you are in control of the gates of your enemies, they are by implication your slaves and captives and you can decide to starve them to death because it is through the gates or door that they will go out and find pasture.

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture (John 10:9 KJV)

The reverse also follows. It is a terrible curse that the enemy should possess the gates of someone. When the enemies are in possession of one’s gates, sometimes they make the person’s situation worse than death. They will not allow any good thing to come in and when anything evil is coming they will open wide the gates.

You need to arise and declare ‘the enemy shall not possess my gates’. Peradventure your gates have already been captured by the enemies;  this blog will help you recover them. Study it meditatively and pray the prayers violently and you will not only recover your gates, but you shall possess the gates of your enemies in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
